The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) raided the Pokhara Metropolitan City and seized some important documents on Tuesday.

The Pokhara office of the anti-graft body initiated an investigation regarding an illegal tax waiver worth around Rs190 million granted to the Manipal Hospital.

“A detailed investigation is underway after taking all related documents while waiving tax to Manipal Hospital,” said Jagadish Chandra Shiwakoti, spokesperson at CIAA Pokhara office.
