Seven people died in a jeep accident at Debchuli Municipality of Nawalparasi East district on Sunday. 

Six died on the spot while one critically injured died in the course of treatment at Bharatpur Hospital, Chitwan.

 According to Bed Bahadur Paudel, chief of Nawalparasi East District Police Office, among the deceased are three men and three women and their identities have yet to be ascertained. 

Police said the jeep heading for Daldalebazar from Majhdanda of Baudikali Rural Municipality overturned in a sharp bend. It is suspected that the fatal crash occurred due to a brake failure.
