Two members of a family died in a house fire in ward 1 of Dharche Rural Municipality, Gorkha, on Saturday night.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Kumar Shrestha, Kanchhi Gurung, aged 75, and her son Chandra Singh Gurung, aged 39, died in the incident.
“The cause of the fire is not immediately known. Investigation is underway into the incident,” said Shreshta. T
The incident happened at around 10pm.
