Three children of the same family died after being buried in a landslide early on Tuesday.
The landslide, which occurred at around 8am in ward 1 of the Panini Rural Municipality, claimed the lives of children aged 12, 11 and 10, said rural municipality chair Kamal Prasad Pokharel.
Another 14-year-old, who sustained serious injuries, has been rushed to Palpa for treatment.
All four children were buried after a landslide swept away their house. They were rescued by the locals and police personnel, said Police Inspector Mukunda Rijal.
