Police have arrested a man on charge of murdering his daughter.

Aseri Din Miya, a local resident of Jaimini Municipality in Baglung, was arrested for murdering his 20-month-old daughter on Thursday.

Miya was alone at home when he allegedly committed the horrific crime.

Miya’s wife had left their young daughter in the care of her husband while she was staying with her maternal family.

A team from the Kushmishera Police Office had immediately arrested the accused after learning of the incident. Miya has been transferred to the police headquarters for further investigation.
