KC secured a victory over UML’s Surya Prasad Pathak with a margin of 2,626 votes.

Chitra Bahadur KC of Rastriya Janamorcha has been elected to the House of Representatives from Baglung-1. He defeated CPN-UML’s Surya Prasad Pathak to emerge victorious.
KC received 21,451 votes while his closest competitor Pathak got 18,825 votes.
Khimananda Kandel of Rastriya Swatantra Party stood third with 9,174 votes.
