Police vs Sankata match postponed

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) on Saturday postponed the ANFA Women’s League football match between Nepal Police Club and Sankata until further notice.
“The match between Nepal Police Club and Sankata Club has been postponed until further notice due to adverse weather conditions,” ANFA said in a statement.
Police, who have already qualified for the Super League, and the already-eliminated Sankata were scheduled to clash in the final game of the first round on Saturday.
Police have already secured third position in the ten-team standing with a game in hand. They have 18 points.
The top five teams progressed to the Super League, which will be played in a double round robin format.
Defending champions Armed Police Force Club topped the table with 25 points, while Tribhuvan Army Club secured second position in the league with 22 points.
Waling Municipality (15 points) and Koshi Province (14 points) are the other teams who advanced into the second round.
Bagmati Youth Club, Chandrapur Municipality, Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province were also eliminated from the first round.
ANFA is yet to announce the schedule for the Super League stage.
