Chitwan Rhinos set a 165-run target for Sudurpaschim Royals

Chitwan Rhinos posted a total of 164 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs against Sudurpaschim Royals in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) match at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Chitwan were led by opener Hassan Eishakhil’s impressive knock of 65 runs off 52 balls, which included 6 boundaries and 3 sixes. Hassan was dismissed by Scott Kuggeleijn, caught by Naresh Budhayer.
Ravi Bopara added 36 runs off just 18 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes before being caught by Naren Saud off Dipendra Singh Airee’s delivery. Bipin Rawal contributed 17 runs but fell to Kuggeleijn, caught by Saif Zaib.
Among other batters, Santosh Karki scored 9 runs, while captain Kushal Malla managed 13 before being bowled by Kuggeleijn. Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton (2*) and Amar Routela (6*) remained unbeaten.
For Sudurpaschim, Scott Kuggeleijn was the standout bowler, claiming 2 wickets. Dipendra Singh Airee, Brandon McMullen, and Saif Zaib picked up one wicket each.
Chitwan made two changes to their squad, bringing in Hassan Eishakhil and Ranjit Kumar in place of Sharad Vesawkar and Luke Wankekestain. Sudurpaschim replaced Basant Khatri with Dilpreet Bajwa in their playing XI.
