The top-performing Nepali cricketer of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) T20 cricket tournament will be rewarded with a brand new car as Omoda & Jaecoo Nepal, on Tuesday, joined the franchise league as one of the co-sponsors.

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) Secretary Paras Khadka and Gaurav Sharda, director of SPG Automobiles Private Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding during a function in Kathmandu.

SPG Automobiles is the authorised distributor of Omoda & Jaecoo Automobiles.

“The best Nepali player of the Nepal Premier League will now get a car from Sharda Group,” Khadka said following the deal.

Director Sharda said that the involvement of Omoda & Jaecoo is aimed at elevating the cricket milestone in Nepal, further adding that the partnership will aim to enhance the Nepali cricket development and contribute to leverage the cricketing scenario.

The matches of the NPL will also be available for online viewers via the official YouTube channel of Action Sports, according to Brand Digital Logiq, a digital marketing agency in Nepal managing NPL’s commercial rights.

An agreement regarding YouTube streaming rights was signed on Tuesday between Brand LogiQ and Dish Media Network.

The television broadcasts will be aired live on Star Sports.

The NPL is scheduled to take place from November 30 to December 16 at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
