Nepali women’s team clinch T20 Quadrangular Series

Nepal registered a 13-run victory over HongKong in the final match of the Women’s T20 Quadrangular Series held at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.
Elected to bat first after losing the toss, HongKong posted a target of 102 runs against the Nepali side.
Shanzeen Shahzad scored an unbeaten 14 runs, while Kary Chan top-scored at 29 runs.
Similarly, Marina Antonia put up 19 runs and Yasmin Daswani also managed 11 runs, as Hong Kong scored 101 runs, losing six wickets, in the stipulated 20 overs.
For Nepal, Khusi Dangol dismissed three batters while Asmina Karmacharya and Kabita Joshi also managed to grab a wicket a piece.

Left-handed batter Sita Rana Magar contributed 13 runs while Indu Barma scored 19 as the Nepali side scored 37 runs in 5.3 overs, to secure a comfortable win.
