Nepal post 281 runs target for Kuwait in rain-hit match

Captain Rohit Paudel and Kushal Malla cracked half-centuries as Nepal posted 282 runs on the board in the match against Kuwait in the semi-final of the ACC Premier Cup on Saturday.
The target for Kuwait has been revised to 281 runs based on Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method.
Paudel made 94 runs off 95 balls, smashing three sixes and seven fours in the match at the TU cricket ground which has been reduced to 42 overs each side due to rain.
Malla made 57 runs off 44 balls, hitting four fours and four sixes.
Likewise, Kushal Bhurtel contributed 43 runs as Aasif Sheikh made 31 runs.
Mohammed Aslam and Adnan Idress of Kuwait took three wickets each to restrict Nepal to 281 runs at the loss of nine wickets.
Kuwait had won the toss and opted to field first.
