The second edition of Face of Nepal—a model hunt—was announced recently. The model hunt will select two male and two female models to represent Nepal at the Asia New Star Model, slated to take place in South Korea later this year.
The auditions which will pick the final four will be held at Karma Lounge on April 22.
According to the organisers, anyone between the ages of 18 to 30 with the height at least 5’6 (girls) and 5’11 (boys) are eligible to participate in the audition.
Speaking about the event, Paramita RL Rana, one of the former winners, said, “Face of Nepal provides aspiring models with an opportunity to represent the country in an international platform as well as gain lots of experience. So, I would highly encourage models to participate in it.” She added, “For me, being a part of Face of Nepal is the biggest achievement so far and the knowledge that I gained from participating there has helped me a lot in my modelling career.”
Besides Rana, models Alka Rai, Ritesh Raj Gurung and Bhaskar Baniya had previously won the competition and represented Nepal in the global arena.
The five day event in South Korea will feature various shows and competitions such as New Star Model Contest, among others.
