A poetry recital programme titled Sabdaharu ka Maajh Kabi Govinda Raj Binodi (Poet Govinda Raj Binodi in between words) took place in Chitwan on Sunday. The event marked the Chitwan Literature Council’s 29th establishment anniversary.

The event saw poet Binodi himself recite select works of poetry from his ouevre. Meanwhile, the programme also saw a cluster of poets such as Krishna Saran Upadhaya, Sarita Tiwari, Manoj Bhandari, Bal Krishna Thapaliya, Nirajan Panta, and others recite Binodi’s poems. The event also launched 24th edition of Council’s mouth piece, Bageshwori.

Similarly, the chairperson of the council, Surendra Astafal, Nepal Academy’s Prof Dr Amar Giri, former chairperson of the council Prem Binod Nandan, chief-editor of Bageshwori Kedarnath Khanal, chairperson of Sahitya Sangam Chitwan Dwarika Nepal spoke at the event.
