Kantipur Television Network began formal broadcast of its second channel Kantipur Gold from 6pm on Friday. The channel will broadcast high-quality sports, entertainment and lifestyle programmes, according to the KTN.

The channel will prioritise broadcast of live sports events both within and outside the country. “Having won the hearts of many through its entertainment programmes during the test phase, the channel will add programmes targeting youths in the future,” the network said in a statement.

The channel will also incorporate international activities, informational and health-related contents. The channel can be also be viewed online through KMG application.
