The physical auditions for Miss Universe Nepal 2026, presented by Deepal, concluded at The Soaltee Kathmandu on Thursday. A total of 106 contestants from across Nepal and the Nepali diaspora vied for a place in the beauty pageant.

According to the organisers, the auditions attracted participants from various parts of the country as well as Non-Resident Nepalis living abroad. Contestants were evaluated on confidence, personality and talent as part of the selection process, organisers said.

A panel of judges will now shortlist the top 25 contestants, who will advance to the next stage of the competition. The finalists will participate in a series of grooming, mentorship and leadership development programmes designed to prepare them for the grand finale.

Organisers said the training will focus on enhancing the contestants’ communication skills, confidence and leadership qualities.

The winner of Miss Universe Nepal 2026 will earn the opportunity to represent Nepal at the international Miss Universe pageant.
