Artist Manish Lal Shrestha’s curated selection of the works of ten young up-and-coming artists is being presented at the ‘Mcube Young Artists Show 2026’ event at Gallery Mcube. The exhibit is to remain open until the 31st of July 2026.

The gallery is featuring works from artists Amisha KC, Amisha Maharjan, Kripa Shakya, Kritika Manandhar, Rujan K. Maharjan, Saijal Sthapit, Sharmila Devi Tamang, Smarika Maharjan, Sonam Chamling Rai, and Spandan Pyakurel (KEKI), who have worked with paintings, mixed media, drawing, installation and other experimental approaches.

Curator Shrestha is committed to the development of contemporary art in the next generation of artists, sharing that the event is a platform that “nurtures new voices, encourages artistic exploration, and creates meaningful connections between emerging artists and the wider art community".

The artist’s work ranges from topics like women's issues, the various effects of urbanisation, social changes brought on by modernity, Newari culture, personal expression, and issues pertinent to indigenous and minority communities.

The diversity of voices and topics covered alongside the many forms of artistic expression on show at the event are noteworthy.
