Deltin Nepal Pvt Ltd (Maharaja The Royal Casino) inaugurated Khushi Children’s Park in Narayan Chaur, Naxal, Kathmandu, on Saturday. The event was inaugurated by Gagan Kumar Thapa, former health minister, in the presence of Dhan Bahadur Bohora, deputy superintendent of police (DSP), along with other distinguished guests, community representatives, residents, and stakeholders.
In a rapidly urbanising city like Kathmandu, where safe, accessible recreational spaces for children are limited, this initiative offers a meaningful approach to creating a secure, child-friendly space in a natural environment. The park is designed to encourage outdoor play, physical activity, and positive social interaction among children, families, and community members.
The park features modern, kid-safe play equipment, landscaped green areas, pedestrian-friendly walkways, and seating areas for parents and visitors. By promoting outdoor recreation, the park supports children’s physical health, mental well-being, and overall development while strengthening community engagement.
Khushi Children’s Park is expected to serve as a valuable public asset for years to come, providing children with a safe place to play and grow while fostering a strong sense of community ownership and shared responsibility.
