Tanka Chaulagain’s novel ‘Rudane’, based on the biography of politician and philosopher Rupchandra Bista, was released on Saturday at Shilpee's Gothale Theater.

The author explains that the book, written in a fictional style, captures various aspects of Bista’s life. He adds that the book is written in an imaginative and creative manner, distinct from a typical biography. Chaulagain says, “Since I am closely connected to theatre and storytelling, I felt that adopting this style would do greater justice to the narrative.”

According to Shyam Shrestha, a writer who closely observed Bista, the novel’s narrative combines emotion and history.

This is Chaulagain’s fourth book. Published in collaboration with Sangrila Books and Ambition Guru, it is available on the Ambition Guru mobile app, as well as in eBook and audiobook versions.
