Tihar Haat Bazaar

Foodpark Avenue is holding a Tihar Haat Bazaar today. Visitors can browse through a range of stalls offering gifts and necessities for the festivities, along with BBQ and live performances set to the sounds of Tihar.

Maitidevi Jatra

Every year during Kukur Tihar, an idol of Maitidevi is moved from Maligaun to the Maitidevi Temple. On Mha Pooja (the New Year of the Newa Calendar), three chariots carrying idols of Gyaneshwar Ganesh, Bhairab, and Panchakumari Maa are taken on a tour (jatra) around Maitidevi.
