Golchha Group announced that the application for the ninth edition of Glocal Teen Hero (GTH) Nepal 2023 has officially opened in a press conference held on Thursday.

GTH is an initiation of Glocal Pvt Ltd, a business enterprise that trains and educates the youth on various skills. The organisers state they want to give teenagers a platform to share their passion and creativity in different forms through the programme. GTH recognises teenagers who are doing something beyond their academics and creating a positive impact in society.

The GTH team will select participants from 62 different cities in Nepal. anyone between the ages of 13 to 19 years can apply for the show online. Applications close on July 30. If you know a teenager who is incredibly skilled at something, you can nominate them too through the online form.

Initiated in 2015 with the aim of recognising the incredible teenagers of Kathmandu Valley, the event expanded to include participants from all over Nepal by 2016. The GTH team are also working to extend the show to other South Asian countries. The competition was launched in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the years 2019, 2020 and 2022, respectively.
