Everest International MUN

The Youth Thinkers Society has been organising Everest International MUN since 2014, and this year, they are focusing on ‘Where Diversity Meets Diplomacy’. The event aims to simulate the United Nations’ procedures through the efforts of the US embassy.

Everest International is accepting applications for international press and delegates for the event.

Kids Yoga Time

Yogmandu is organising yoga classes for children who want to learn about yoga sutras, pranayama, and yoga therapy, among other things. Dance and games—related to yoga—will also be done during these classes, assisted by three trained yoga teachers. Participants will also be served seasonal fruits as snacks.

Art Camp

Aart Tsom is organising a seven days art course designed to guide the participants through the techniques of drawing and watercolour painting in different subjects. Participants will learn about a new topic every day in the camp. It is suitable for beginners and intermediate learners.

‘Absence Unbothered’ Exhibition

The Dalai-la art space is currently showcasing textile-based artworks by artist Sofia Maharjan. She takes translucent cotton fabric over which she stitches aspects of everyday life and memories of people and objects.

Stand-up Comedy by Zakir Khan

Addea Services is organising a stand-up comedy event by Zakir Khan. Khan is a well-known stand-up comedian from India who is now coming to Nepal to perform the first instalment of his tour ‘Spreading Smiles’.
