A collective art exhibition titled Unsilenced Voices, is being organised in support of the Gen-Z movement and freedom of expression, commemorating the September 8–9 youth uprising. The exhibition has been set up along the pavement in front of the International Convention Centre (Parliament Building) in Kathmandu.
The show features paintings, sculptures and mixed-media pieces reflecting the memories of young people who lost their lives during the protests, while also amplifying calls for good governance and the safeguarding of expression rights.

The Gen-Z protests, which erupted on September 8 and 9 against corruption and systemic injustices, triggered major political upheaval in the country. Dozens of youths were killed and hundreds injured as demonstrations intensified, eventually forcing a change in the then-incumbent government.
