Hundreds join Pink Careathon at Jawalakhel

The annual Kathmandu Pink Careathon took place on Saturday at Jawalakhel, Lalitpur. Organised by Leisure Port Nepal since 2017, Pinkathon aims to raise awareness about women’s health and fitness.
Hundreds of women, particularly youngsters, joined the event which was convened at the Jawalakhel football ground.

The event featured running and jumba, among other activities, that give new energy to the women who are busy in their daily responsibilities and inspire them to dedicate time to take care of their personal health.
Actress Usha Rajak was the event’s goodwill ambassador.

Previously known as Kathmandu Pinkathon, the event has been rebranded as Kathmandu Pink Careathon.
The annual event was interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic and other factors, but it was resumed in 2024.
