Palpa
Around 50 metres road on Siddhartha Highway caved in near Hiudekhola area of Palpa district.
According to the Road Division Office in Palpa, the road sank down due to heavy rains in the area over the past few days.
The road had caved in at the same place two years ago.
A road diversion has been constructed in the area to resume transportation one way.
The incident site is also prone to landslides, said police.
