Nine injured in Palpa jeep accident

Nine people were injured in a jeep accident at Nisdi Rural Municipality-4 in Palpa district on Sunday morning.
According to the Palpa District Police Office, the jeep was returning to Rampur from a dentistry camp in Mityal village when it lost control and overturned, inflicting the injuries.
All the injured individuals are residents of Rampur Municipality. They were initially taken to Rampur Hospital in Palpa for treatment. Due to the severity of their injuries, Rampur Hospital has referred them to Lumbini Medical College for further treatment, said Sugandha Shrestha, information officer of the Palpa District Police Office.
The vehicle has been impounded by the Police and further investigation into the accident is underway.
