One dead in bus and pickup truck collision
Eight others were injured in the accident that occurred in the Buddhabhumi Municipality section of the East-West highway.

At least one person died after a passenger bus and a pickup truck collided on the East-West Highway near Jhadula Mai Temple of Buddhabhumi Municipality-5. Eight others have been injured.
According to Traffic Police Inspector Anish Bhandari, the truck driver, a resident of Shivraj Municipality, died on the spot after the bus, travelling from Surkhet to Kathmandu, crashed into the truck, en route to Butwal from Chandrauta.
The body of the driver was pulled out from the crushed vehicle after two hours.
The injured are receiving treatment at a private polyclinic of Gorusinge of Kapilvastu. All of them are in normal condition.
