One dead, another seriously injured in motorcycle accident

One person died and another was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Kapilvastu on Saturday.
Pillion rider Kumar Tharu of Sainamaina Municipality-5 died in the accident after the overspeeding two-wheeler went out of control on a road turning near Mahita Chowk in ward 3 of Kapillvastu district at around 9:30 am, police said.
The 23-year-old breathed his last in the course of treatment at the Kapilvastu Hospital.
Motorcycle rider Nir Kumar Tharu, 38, has sustained serious injuries in the accident. He has been taken to the Universal Medical College in Bhairahawa for further treatment.
According to the police, the duo are labourers at a brick kiln.
