Irate locals have blocked the Postal Highway on Sunday after two people died in a road accident.

They have obstructed the highway in Rajpur and Lamahi Municipality-8 demanding relief to the victim's family and action against the culprits

Brandishing sticks, residents are staging a protest by setting tyres ablaze on the road.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Janak Bahadur Malla, the information officer of Dang District Police Office, said efforts are underway to resume the traffic along the road.

Two men aged 24 of Rajpur Rural Municipality-5, were killed when a bus and a motorcycle collided at Rajpur-5 along the Postal Highway on Saturday evening.
