Indian truck found crashed in Trishuli river

A vehicle with an Indian registration number was found crashed in the Trishuli river on Tuesday.
According to Superintendent of Police Rameshwor Karki, a white pickup truck bearing Indian registration number BR9 GC1430 plunged into the river at around 4:45am on Tuesday.
The vehicle fell some 85 metres from the road after veering off Bridge number 3 in Muglin, Karki added.
Personnel from the Disaster Management Training Institute in Kurintar had been mobilised after locals reported the incident to the police at 5am.
No individuals were found in the accident site. Police suspect that the pickup truck was returning after delivering goods in Kathmandu.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
