A five-year-old girl drowned in a puddle near to the Indrawati River in Dolalghat on Sunday. 

According to the District Police Office in Kavre, the child was the daughter of one Buddharam Khadgi, a permanent resident of ward 6 in Dhulikhel Municipality.

The family is currently staying in Dolalghat. The victim’s relatives found her unconscious in the puddle and rushed her to Dhulikhel Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
