Mahottari
Police fired 17 tear gas shells to control a clash in Gaushala market in Mahottari on Monday evening after a 5–6-year-old boy hit a chicken.
The incident sparked a dispute, during which Sabir Hussain’s house was set on fire and damaged. Police from the Gaushala area intervened, Superintendent of Police Heramba Sharma said.
Authorities have identified some individuals and are investigating the case. The market returned to normal by Tuesday morning.
