Police fired 17 tear gas shells to control a clash in Gaushala market in Mahottari on Monday evening after a 5–6-year-old boy hit a chicken.
The incident sparked a dispute, during which Sabir Hussain’s house was set on fire and damaged. Police from the Gaushala area intervened, Superintendent of Police Heramba Sharma said.
