A 60-year-old man was killed in a knife attack in Aagepur, Jaleshwar.
Police said Bechan Raeen of ward 9 in Jaleshwar Municipality was attacked on Monday evening.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Shailendra Kumar Bhatta said a suspect has been arrested in connection with the killing.
Anil Mandal, also known as Pappu, from Bengashivpur, Janakpurdham Sub-metropolitan City, Dhanusha, was taken into custody for allegedly stabbing Raeen.
Mandal, reportedly under the influence of drugs and unconscious at the time, was arrested Monday evening and is under investigation.
