Two killed, over 40 passengers injured in bus accident

Two pedestrians died in a bus accident at Khayarmara of Bardibas municipality in Mahottari district on Friday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Chulhai Chaudhary, 80, of Bardibas-10 and Prabesh Khadka, 10, of Ishworpur-12 in Sarlahi, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police of Area Police Office, Bardibas, Bikas Bam.
The accident took place when the bus was heading towards Kathmandu from Kayarmara. Chaudhary died on the spot in the incident, while Khadka died while undergoing treatment.
More than 40 passengers of the bus were injured in the incident, and all of them are receiving treatment at different hospitals in Bardibas, he added.
