Prime Minister Shah recommends Ramjee Yadav and Gauri Kumari Yadav as ministers

Prime Minister Balendra Shah on Friday recommended appointing two ministers to fill vacant portfolios.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Ramjee Yadav has been assigned the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, which fell vacant after Deepak Sah was dismissed.
Similarly, Gauri Kumari Yadav has been recommended for the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, a portfolio the prime minister had been overseeing since the beginning.
Ramjee is a member of the House of Representatives elected from Saptari-2, while Gauri Kumari represents Mahottari-4. Both ministries had been under the prime minister’s charge until now.
The two are expected to be sworn in later today after their formal appointment by the president.
Ramjee, 30, from ward 9 of Rajbiraj Municipality, entered politics in 2016 through the then Rastriya Janata Party Nepal. He is an engineer by profession.
Gauri Kumari was born in Mahottari. Raised in a local setting, she is familiar with the region’s social structure, geography and public life.
She studied up to certificate level in science and has based her public engagement on education and social awareness.
