A bus caught fire while travelling through Tripureshwar in Kathmandu on Monday, police said.

Superintendent of Police Naresh Subedi of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office said police had received information that one person was burnt in the fire, but the report had not yet been confirmed.

“We received information that the vehicle caught fire,” Subedi told Kantipur. “One person is reported to have been burnt, but the identity has not been established. We are gathering more details.”
