LCCI conducts mobility programme to strengthen hospitality sector

LCCI Global Qualifications, in collaboration with Forth Valley College, Scotland, successfully conducted a mobility programme for culinary and hospitality management students in Nepal from February 4 to 20.
The initiative aimed to enhance Nepal’s hospitality sector by fostering international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and skill development. The programme covered key cities, including Lalitpur, Kathmandu, Bharatpur, and Pokhara, focusing on sustainable cooking, waste management, food safety, and soft skills development.
Participants engaged in hands-on training, including sustainable cooking practices, community-based culinary projects, and HACCP food safety training. Additionally, expert-led sessions on waste management and sustainability encouraged eco-friendly practices in Nepalese hospitality businesses. Faculty members from Forth Valley College and LCCI-affiliated institutions exchanged insights on global hospitality standards and Nepalese culinary traditions.
