The Tribhuvan University has announced that it will cancel the exams for any student found using artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
The university said in a notice on Tuesday that the decision was made during a meeting of the Examination Reform Committee, chaired by Rector Khadga KC.
The meeting, held on Monday, concluded that any use of AI in examinations would result in the immediate cancellation of the student’s exams.
Likewise, the meeting decided to grant supplementary examination opportunities to students who missed the deadlines for annual exams since 2001 and semester exams since 2012.
