Nepali Ambassador to Thailand Dhan Bahadur Oli presented his letter of credence to Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua at the Amphorn Royal Palace on Saturday.

The envoy was accredited as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nepal to the Kingdom of Thailand amidst a special ceremony at the palace, the Bangkok-based Nepali Embassy said.

Following the ceremony, Oli conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from President Ramchandra Paudel for the good health and happiness of the King and the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of the Thai people.

The ambassador added that the two nations were bound by shared culture and values, and had always supported each other in regional and international forums.

King Maha Vajiralongkorn congratulated Oli on his accreditation and wished him success in his assignment. He also extended greetings to President Paudel and best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of Nepal.
