“We call for the protection of civilians in all circumstances. We believe in peace and urge for a peaceful and negotiated settlement of the dispute.”
The government of Nepal is deeply shocked by the killing of innocent civilians in a hospital in Gaza yesterday, the statement said.
The death toll from an attack on Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza has reached 471 as of Wednesday. The death toll was by far the highest of any single incident in Gaza during the current violence, triggering protests in the occupied West Bank, Istanbul and Amman, according to a Reuters report.
