At least 27 persons were injured in a bus-truck collision at Jahare in Gajuri of Dhading district along the Prithvi Highway on Saturday.
The bus (Na 6 Kha 1926) belonging to the Saptahik Travels heading towards Kathmandu from Kakadbhitta of Jhapa district collided head-on with the truck (Na 7 Kha 29) en route to Muglin this morning.
The injured have been taken to Kathmandu for treatment.
According to Inspector Sanjay Timilsina of the Area Police Office, Gajuri, six tola gold and two tola silver ornaments recovered from the bus after the incident have been handed over to assistant bus driver Wakil Sawant.
