The nose wheel of Yeti Airlines aircraft locked up during landing at Pokhara Airport forcing the authorities to shut the airport.
The aircraft with registration number 9N-AHU had flown to Pokhara from Kathmandu carrying 29 passengers. All of the passengers and crew members are safe, sources said.
The aircraft has been left stranded on the runway. A technical team of the airport has been assigned to fix the issue.
This is the second incident the airlines aircraft suffered wheel lock upon landing. Another aircraft of the airlines had suffered wheel lock at Bhairahawa Airport on March 18.
