Inaugurating the Madan Bhandari Meusum built in Mangalbare of Urlabari Municipality-3, Morang district, on Friday, the president claimed that though leader Madan Bhandari passed away, the nation is moving ahead on the ideology espoused by him.
“We are now passing through both happy and sad moments. The museum has been constructed in the name of Madan. I am feeling happy because of this. But it is sad that the reason behind the Dasdhunga incident has not been ascertained yet. We lost a popular and capable ideologist in his young age,” she said.
The president said Madan Bhandari had played an important and historical role to convert communist movement into democratic after the people’s movement in 1989.

The museum which was constructed at a total cost of Rs 30 million will be opened for public from April 1, museum Chairman Guru Prasad Baral said.
