Muslim voters have turned up in overwhelming numbers at Nepalgunj to cast their votes in the second phase of local level elections on Wednesday.

Muslim voters have turned up in overwhelming numbers at Nepalgunj to cast their votes in the second phase of local level elections on Wednesday.
Various parties in the district have fielded Muslim leaders in number of posts including mayor in Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan city, ward chairman and members.
Muslim voter in Nepalgunj are 28.61 percent of the total registered voters.
Meanwhile, voting process is taking place peacefully at Banke with 45 percent turnout, informed Chief Election Officer Tej Narayan Poudel.
