Suspicious objects cause traffic havoc along Prithvi Highway
Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN Maoist cadres, on the eve of local level elections, planted suspicious objects in various places of Dhading district on Saturday morning, obstructing the Prithvi Highway for three hours.

It has been learnt that a pressure cooker bomb and a bag with suspicious object were found at Kajawe of Kalidaha in the district.
Following the incident, people, who were heading towards their home districts from Kathmandu to cast their votes in the local polls via the Highway, were stranded for three hours.
Vehicular movement along the Highway resumed after a Nepal Army technical team inspected the site and removed the suspicious objects from the road.
The Nepal Army team had also removed suspicious objects from the roads in Jugekhola, Mahadevsthan and Gajuri today.
