The regular business of Legislative-Parliament has been put off until Monday.
Issuing a notice on Thursday, the Parliament Secretariat said the scheduled House meeting cannot take place due to special reasons.
Earlier on Thursday, the meeting of Legislature-Parliament was put off after major political parties failed to find consensus on the constitution amendment proposal. The main opposition CPN-UML and some other political parties have been opposing the amendment proposal registered by the government on November 29 in a bid
to address the demands of various agitating forces, including the Madhes-based political parties.
Parties were supposed to discuss an impeachment motion against suspended CIAA chief Lokman Singh Karki.
