Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Wednesday administered oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Assistant Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development Resham Bahadur Lama amidst a programme at Singha Durbar. 

Assistant Minister Lama represents the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Nepal in the CPN (UML)-led coalition government. He replaced Biraj Bista who was recalled by the party for working against the interest of the party. 

On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli urged his coalition partners and the ministers in his government to work as per the spirit of coalition government and become transparent and free from prejudices. 

He accused the main opposition Nepali Congress lawmakers of practicing 'seasonal politics' as they are voicing that grant assistance for the earthquake survivors to construct the shelter should be allocated in lump sum against the decision of the previous NC-led government of distributing it in four installments.
