He said the incumbent government’s achievement during the honeymoon period was nil.
“The government failed to work in the speed it should have worked,” said Sitaula. The government failed to demonstrate its ability to implement the new constitution and to speed up the post-earthquake reconstruction works.
Leader Sitaula was speaking in a press meet organised by Press Union Surkhet on Monday.
He stressed on need for a national unity government as the current government failed to make any remarkable progress during its first 100 days in office.
Talking about NC’s 13th General Convention, leader Sitaula called on everyone not to buy any announcement of candidacy from any leaders before February 8. He said it was meaningless to declare candidacy now.
According to Sitaula, the announcement of candidacy from leaders can be believed only after the district-level conclave concludes on February 8.
NC General Secretary Sitaula claimed that the party will come up with new ideology and policies after the 13th conclave. The conclave is expected to determine five-year roadmap for the party, Sitaula informed.
