Prime Minister Shah cites social media as income source
Shah has four million followers in Facebook, 1.2 million in YouTube and half million followers in X.Post Report
Prime Minister Balendra Shah and members of his Cabinet have made public their property details, revealing assets ranging from real estate and shareholdings to digital earnings and livestock.
According to disclosures released by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Sunday, Shah holds Rs 14.6 million in bank deposits. He has listed digital content creation on platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Spotify as his primary source of income.
Shah has four million followers in Facebook, 1.2 million in YouTube and half million followers in X.
The prime minister owns 1.2 bighas of land in Dhanusha and 5 annas in Kathmandu. An additional 9 bighas in Mahottari are held in the name of his father, Ram Narayan Shah. His wife, Sabina Kafle, has declared 190 tolas of gold and silver as ancestral property.
