Post Report
Arya Hotel & Spa has officially opened in Thamel’s Narsingh Chowk, offering a blend of traditional Nepali architecture and modern amenities. The hotel includes 72 rooms, a full-service spa, conference facilities, and rooftop dining with panoramic views of Kathmandu.
Developed with an investment of Rs2.5 billion, the hotel is owned by Krishna Simkhada, a non-resident Nepali who returned to Nepal after two and a half decades in Japan.
The hotel’s public spaces include a 25-seat meeting hall and a larger 70-person conference space on the 11th floor. The 12th floor houses Sora, a dining area with space for over 100 guests and a glass-enclosed section called Skyline Sora for skywalk dining. The rooftop lounge, The Thirteenth Retreat, offers 360-degree views of landmarks such as Boudhanath, Dharahara, and the surrounding hills.
Additional amenities include a temperature-controlled swimming pool, outdoor jacuzzi, gym, and spa facilities with separate sauna and steam rooms for men and women. The Ninth Wave bar on the 9th floor and the in-lobby Corner Brew Café complete the hospitality offerings.
