Tension ran high at Resunga Hospital in Gulmi on Wednesday over a patient’s death. Shivalal Aryal, 56, of Malika Rural Municipality-6 had died on Tuesday night following a surgery of his gum.

Aryal’s family members claimed that his death was caused due to the negligence of the hospital staff.

They resorted to protest demanding action against the guilty medical staff and compensation.

The family received Aryal’s body only after the hospital management agreed to fulfil their demands.
